The Commonwealth of Dominica established the Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) in 1993. This fund is non-profit. It mobilizes government-sponsored growth projects in both public and private sectors, supporting socio-economic progress and ensuring financial prosperity for all. A contribution to this fund is non-refundable. Project examples include new infrastructure and renovations of hospitals, schools and airports, social service programs, post-hurricane rehabilitation works and more. Contributions start at $100,000 USD (plus additional fees) for a single applicant. The age and number of familial dependents of a single application dictate the total contribution cost.
